Pandemic Preparedness, Prevention, and Response

This volume will address pandemic preparedness and response. It will:

Assist decision makers in the allocation of tightly constrained budgets to prevent, prepare for, and respond to pandemics.
Provide information to national governments and global health actors on how to use their resources to mitigate pandemic risks substantially and equitably.
Cover key areas of pandemic preparedness from the early detection of spill-over events to accelerating the development and deployment of medical countermeasures.
Emphasis, where appropriate, will be on the use of evidence and economic evaluation.
