About Volume 1

This volume addresses DCP country translation work, experience in selected countries, and experience in setting and implementing essential service clusters.

It:

  • Draws lessons from DCP and similar priority setting exercises by examining country-led implementation in various LMICs with particular emphasis on progress towards UHC.
  • Examines cross-cutting DCP implementation issues across countries with a focus on processes, methods, and tools.
  • Assists decision-makers by providing guidance about various approaches to priority setting and key issues of implementation in LMIC contexts.
